In fact, I had clear skin until 2016, then everything changed.
I suddenly found myself dealing with painful, raised bumps all over my face. It felt like they appeared overnight, and nothing I used made them go away. I spent months trying product after product, hoping for a quick fix, but instead, my skin (and my confidence) just got worse. Usually, when this happens, the normal response is to add more products to your routine. I tried everything — including a brand that caused by face to swell up like a balloon. That was my final straw.

I eventually stopped everything.
I stripped down my routine and decided to learn how to listen to my skin. That’s when my healing journey began, not just physically, but emotionally too.

But something deeper clicked: I realized that true skin transformation requires more than products. It takes knowledge, consistency, and care. I decided to go to esthetic school to gain the professional training I needed to truly treat the skin, while simultaneously fulfilling a dream I'd had since childhood but never fully recognized until that moment. What once felt like a struggle suddenly became purpose, and I knew I was on the path I was meant to follow. Sometimes our hardest moments are simply the ones that guide us toward our true dreams.

About Me

I’m Remi, a licensed esthetician and the founder of Luminous Glow by Remi.
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised with values of compassion, hard work, and the importance of showing up as my best self. In early 2024, I began esthetics school, graduated in December, and became licensed in March of 2025.

Esthetics is more than a profession, it’s my passion. I know how deeply our skin affects the way we feel, how we interact with others, and the confidence we carry. Our face is how we introduce ourselves to the world, it’s how we express who we are before we even speak.

That’s why I'm devoted to helping you realize the best version of yourself. First impressions are often made within the first few minutes of meeting someone, and your essence is reflected in those small, authentic moments. My goal as your esthetician is not only to provide the relaxation you seek, but also the healing your skin deserves.

For this reason, I have continued to broaden my skills and knowledge base, offering advanced treatments and services that deliver results while making each experience feel like an investment in you.
