I have. In fact, I had clear skin until 2016, then everything changed. I suddenly found myself dealing with painful, raised bumps all over my face. It felt like they appeared overnight, and nothing I used made them go away. I spent months trying product after product, hoping for a quick fix, but instead, my skin (and my confidence) just got worse.

Eventually, I stopped everything. I stripped down my routine and decided to learn how to listen to my skin. That’s when my healing journey began, not just physically, but emotionally too. But something deeper clicked: I realized that true skin transformation requires more than products. It takes knowledge, consistency, and care. I decided to go to esthetic school to gain the professional training I needed to truly treat the skin—so I could turn my personal struggle into a path that helps others.

I’m Remi, a licensed esthetician and the founder of Luminous Glow by Remi.
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised with values of compassion, hard work, and the importance of showing up as my best self.
In early 2024, I began esthetics school, graduated in December, and became licensed in March 2025.

I wasn’t satisfied with just the basics of esthetics, I wanted to deepen my expertise so I could better serve those facing real skin concerns. That’s why I chose to continue my education by enrolling in a Master Esthetician program, which I’m scheduled to complete in November 2025. This advanced training is helping me gain the in depth knowledge needed to support you through the facial issues you face and provide corrective care with clarity and compassion.
